Fuel Tank Removal in Deddington, Oxfordshire
Removing redundant fuel storage and associated pipework for a large telecommunications company.
Redundant fuel storage.
A coordinated removal.
A large telecommunications company needed a redundant steel gas oil tank and associated equipment removed from its Deddington premises in Oxfordshire. Britteco removed the tank and connected pipework, and moved the generator to the site’s car park.
The project brought together plant-room access planning, crane-assisted lifting and the removal of redundant pipework. For similar commercial projects, see our oil and fuel tank removal service.
Access and isolation.
A site visit reviewed the equipment and the route out of the building. The doorway and a step were practical access considerations for the removal.
The works were rescheduled while the client arranged electrical isolation. The fuel had already been removed or transferred before the final removal works.

Pipework dismantled.
Britteco removed the redundant fuel tank and associated pipework. The generator was moved to the site’s car park as part of the agreed works.
The tank was lifted out through the plant-room doorway using a crane. The associated pipework was removed, while the generator remained on the premises in the car park.
